• Auctions, food and cre-e-e-e-epy people...

  Saturday we had our annual club show that has a Talent show, sewing, baking, drawing, photography etc...you know all the cool stuff!! We were pretty late in getting the PR stuff out wo we expected a pretty low turnout.  I entered eight items in the show.  I was really proud of my sewing, my cookies and the piano song I performed as they did pretty well...

  ...enough about me, what was the funny part is Jonathan came to the show.  Jonathan is a guy who goes to our library who is pretty creepy.  He likes to hang out with his even creepier counterpart David but thankfully it was only Jonathan there.  I had to work for part of the day and reportedly during this time period Jonathan had come and was asking for me.  When I did get there he wanted to share his donut loot, show me his painting [which was very well made for a fourteen year old I must say], and ask about my connections to this show.

  Jonathan: Do you know Yvonne Flippo?

  Me: Actually she is my boss...

  J: Really?

  M: Yes.

  J: Are you in this Y-4 thing?

  M: Huh?

  J: You know the people sponsoring this.

  M: You mean 4-H?

  J: Yes, gawd I can be so stupid.

  M: No, you aren't stupid, but yes I am in 4-H.

  J: Are you a part of this club?

  M: Actually I'm the president...
  
  To conclude our event they had a live auction.  My little eight year old sister got up there to sell her project and my mom and my bosses son were dueling it out for her scrapbooking project.  It ended up selling for a whopping $100 making my already rich sister even richer!!
